Foundation damaged due to pothole

Reported via mobile in the Damaged road category anonymously at 13:53, Wednesday 5 August 2026

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 9902576.

I posted this on the 30th July and 3rd Aug, but both deleted by the council and sent me a confirmation saying the issue has been fixed, which is completely untrue.

Anyway, I will keep reposting this until the work actually begins.

Someone reported this pothole back in March, yet we are now approaching August and the Council has still done absolutely nothing to repair it. This is extremely disappointing and certainly gives residents reason to reconsider their support at the next local election. Since March, I have noticed that my house shakes significantly more every time buses drive through the pothole. I am becoming increasingly concerned that the continued deterioration of the road could eventually cause damage to nearby properties. Could someone please explain why no action has been taken despite the issue being reported several months ago? Are you waiting until the road collapses into a sinkhole or until properties are damaged before carrying out
