Dangerous tree

Reported via desktop in the Private property category anonymously at 21:07, Monday 20 April 2026

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 9326466.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope you are well.

I am writing to raise a health and safety concern regarding a tree at 51 Marden Crescent DA5 , and to kindly request the council’s assistance.

Some large branches have already fallen from the tree, and we have had verbal confirmation from a tree surgeon that it may be dead and potentially unsafe. This is particularly worrying as there are children living at and visiting the property.

Please note that the photographs provided only show some of the smaller branches that have fallen. Unfortunately, we do not have photos of the larger branches, but these have also come down and are of greater concern.

We have previously reported this issue to the letting agency Anthony Martin Bexleyheath responsible for the property, but unfortunately no action has been taken so far. As a result, we felt it would be best to contact the council for guidance and support.

We would be very grateful if this could be looked into, and if an inspection could be arranged at your earliest convenience.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
