Tent Pitched in Public Parkland
Reported via desktop in the Contractor Enquiry/Complaints category anonymously at 12:32, Wednesday 4 February 2026
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 8836597.
Apologies for labelling this under 'complaints' but there was no other suitable option. A tent has been pitched (I assume with inhabitants) in public parkland adjacent to the path that goes from Harrow Manorway through to Lesness Abbey - it's right by the Knee Hill roundabout - you can see if from the roundabout - groundsmen usually patrol the area for gardening purposes so they may pick it up but it needs to nipped in the bud before we get some sort of shanty town erected in this area - it's intimidating for people using the area for family/dog walks, etc.
