Overgrown tree blocking public footpath

Reported via mobile in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 12:56, Sunday 30 November 2025

Sent to London Borough of Bexley 20 hours, 42 minutes later. Report ref: 8482318.

There is a severely overgrown tree at this address which is now obstructing the public pavement. The branches are hanging across the footpath and forcing pedestrians to step into the road to pass.

This is especially dangerous for elderly residents, parents with pushchairs, wheelchair users, and people with mobility issues. The pavement is effectively not safely usable at this point.

This has been getting progressively worse and now requires urgent attention before someone is injured.

Please can this be inspected and trimmed back as a matter of priority to restore safe public access to the pavement.

Thank you.
