Rainwater collects at the edge of the road

The entire flat section of new road, either side of the bus stop rainwater collects and passing vehicles spray the pavement. There is no problem with the stormwater drain, road gradient and subsistence mean that rainwater collects and does not flow into the drain.

  • Following further investigations, we can confirm that the issue identified in this report does not currently exceed the Council's threshold where further action would be required at this stage. Further information on these guidelines can be found on our website:
