Rocking paving slab next to a raised paving slab

The middle paving slab is rocking significantly, with the paving slab closest to numbers 48 & 50 being raised. The raised paving slab was reported previously with a temporary repair made. The issue appears to be due to the tree roots extending beneath the pavement (this has occurred beneath the pathway to number 48 and repaired better by the owners than the council contractors)

  • Following further investigations, we can confirm that the issue identified in this report does not currently exceed the Council's threshold where further action would be required at this stage. Further information on these guidelines can be found on our website:
