The damaged surface here has been left for too long. My grandson tripped and fell on his way to school. Fortunately traffic had already stopped but imagine if it hadnt

    This matter will be dealt with as part of planned works in this location and may require a road closure and preparations are being made for a time to do them. It may be some months before they are able to take place but, in the meantime, we will continue to monitor the situation to see if the matter requires a more immediate, short-term treatment, prior to the planned works timescale
