Dead silver birch tree needs removing

Reported via mobile in the Park / Open space category anonymously at 16:27, Wednesday 2 April 2025

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 7352786.

This silver birch tree has been in decline and diseased for a while. It is now dead (only one limb had any leaves last year). There was previously another silver birch tree close to it, which also died a few years ago and had to be removed.

Aside from hazards to dog walkers and park users from falling branches (and teenagers breaking parts off it), the disease which has caused its demise appears to have spread to the next closest silver birch tree, on adjacent property
