Child injured due to uneven pavement
Reported via iOS in the Other street defect category anonymously at 12:11, Wednesday 12 March 2025
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 7266788.
12/3/2025 at 11:50am Picked child up from nursery at OLOR. Walking along the pathway. Our 4 year old son was riding his scooter close by. The front wheels were stopped by an uneven paving slab. The scooter flipped over and our son’s head thudded against the pavement. He has cuts and bruises to his face. He is in pain and required basic first aid (from parents). I checked the paving slab and is uneven - it moves as you step on it. On closer inspection there are several other slabs in similar condition along this short pathway.
Please advise.
