The loss of tarmac has exposed a sharp edge

I have reported this problem recently but it appears that nothing was done about it. I now enclose a picture which exposes a deep trough along two edges of the manhole cover which I have seen at least two cyclists having to take avoiding action to deviate from their chosen/ideal line through the corner. This leaves a sharp edge which could puncture or damage vehicle tyres. The trough is over two inches deep.
