Drain blocked and path flooded – pedestrians not able to cross

Reported via mobile in the Blocked rainwater gulleys category by Laura Trigg at 13:34, Tuesday 11 February 2025

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 7115886.

The drain has blocked again, and the whole path is flooded, so that pedestrians cannot get across. This is the only safe place for school children to pass without needing to cross the busy traffic on the main road. This route serves at least three local schools. So it is fairly important to get it fixed.

This keeps happening, so I wonder whether a better and more permanent solution is needed to sort out the problematic drain, rather than just having to clear it every time it happens, it would be better to prevent it from happening in the first place. Thank you!
