Overhanging tree

This tree on Portland Avenue is now overhanging our house roof which is concerning. Both worried about the branches but additionally any extending roots closer to our property. Also the tree is a congregation space for birds (I do appreciate birds/wildlife) and their excrement is a problem down the side access of our home There are tree surgeons currently on Wellington Ave but they are unable to see this tree (Portland Avenue) on their work sheet. When we last saw tree surgeons in our area back in ?Sept/Oct we were advised that Portland trees were to be pruned very soon. Wanting to make sure that we haven’t been missed. Many thanks

  • Problem unchanged but contacting you for an update as to when this tree and others down Portland Avenue will be cut back. I last spoke to someone from the council 3 months ago. I believe awaiting the tree surgeon contractor. Thank you

    Tree surgeons have been but all the trees have had a cut back apart from the tree of concern. Even the uplifting to the tree (adjacent to our house 105 Wellington) has been minimal compared to the other trees along Portland. Wondering on the reasoning for this. Please may I request the the tree in question is cut back just as the others have been Many thanks I have attached photos of work completed in Portland and the tree that is overhanging our property. There seems to be a limit on photos so will have to send separately
