Continuous noise
Reported via desktop in the Lamp post category anonymously at 11:40, Sun 29 December 2024
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6906829.
Not sure where to report this. There is a continuous high pitch beeping sound around 89 Beverley Avenue. My neighbours can hear it too. It's been going on for about a month. It's definitely not a car or house alarm. It's all through the day and night. We're wondering if it's coming from the electrical/telephone cables or street lamps.

The noise is getting louder. I've tried to trace it and it seems to be louder in Oaklands Avenue. Someone living by the junction of Beverley Avenue and Oaklands Avenue has asked on Facebook if anyone else can hear it.

Is there an update on this. I reported it on 29th December. All my neighbours are complaining about the noise, but they can't be bothered to report it. The noise is affecting my sleep at night and mental health during the day. It is driving me mad!!!

The case has now been closed as our investigations have been completed and the necessary repairs arranged where it relates to items maintainable by Bexley. This may require replacement materials to be ordered or works needed by external agencies (such as UK Power Networks or Housing Association) which may then take up to 4 weeks.
Please let us know if the matter is not resolved after 4 weeks.
