Blocked Drain.
Reported via mobile in the Blocked rainwater gulleys category anonymously at 13:03, Thu 26 December 2024
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6899310.
When it rains, (does not need to be heavy rain). Lane 1 towards Plumstead floods. The resulting lake of water and vehicles driving though the water, is washing away the raised bank. Half the bank has gone already. Shortly the bank will be completely washed away. This flooding is on a bend, so vehicles traveling at 50mph don't see it till the last minute and then swerve to miss it. This swerving into traffic in lane 2, is dangerous. If you can't repair the blocked drains. Could Bexley not cut a hole through the bank for the water to run away like Bexley did by the off rump at the elevated roundabout.
