Sharp spikes on Monkey Puzzle tree at eye level
Reported via mobile in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 14:30, Sun 8 December 2024
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6834908.
Both my wife and I have inadvertently walked into an overhanging branch from the monkey puzzle tree pictured in front of 265 Upton Road South in Bexley. Luckily we were wearing peak caps at the time and were looking down onto the pavement on both separate occasions. We only suffered minor punctures and scratches to our foreheads. We are quite short so our concern is that if someone taller had to walk past the house at night they may sustain serious eye injuries.
