Tent erected without permission in the road.

Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 11:06, Thursday 28 November 2024

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6795629.

Our road is shared between private residents and businesses. One of the businesses is a constant issue for all of us living here. They often leave their items strewn across the street which blocks access to our houses. At the moment, they have erected a marque type tent in the road making it hard for emergency service vehicles to get through if they need to. They never asked anyone permission to do this. They did not consult anyone. This is a risk for all of us living here. There is also lots of anti social behaviour linked to this business, and now this large tent is attracting more street drinkers and drug users. The other day they were fighting with knives in the street. It was also previously a cannabis factory. I think people are living there illegally. Please can someone do something immediately as it’s putting all of us in fear for our safety.
