Dangerous overgrown tree

I live at the end of crescent road and have 2 huge trees over hanging my property. The storms over recent years have brought huge branches down onto my property and it is becoming too dangerous. They are the only trees on the road that are not regularly maintained by the council. As they are council property any damaged caused by these tree my insurers will be claiming against Bexley council. Severe pruning of the trees is required immediately.
