Since 2021 Cracks in road causing shaking house when large vehicles or busses pass by
Reported via mobile in the Damaged road category anonymously at 23:52, Monday 4 November 2024
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6695061.
There is a crack across the road which is getting worse. Buses coming down the hill at speed and other large vehicles hit the crack and my whole house shakes to the point where I have cracks in the plaster. This has been reported many times in the past but still comes back. It wakes me up at 4 o'clock in the morning when the first bus runs, I am fed up tired and work from home with a constant shaking of my house. This is causing damage to my house so I may consult a solicitor. There are no speed restrictions on this part of the road despite several accidents at this point, three in under a year, one day some one will get killed. Please can this be looked at as a matter or urgency. This is not the first time I have reported it !
