This issue has been raised almost 5 years ago due to other complaints from residents and still no resolve. we have been going back and forth with orbit and bexley council and they love to blame each other to not get any work done!

Almost half of galleons close have no lighting which is an immediate danger to pedestrians trying to walk and encourages motor thefts etc

  • This issue is not covered under the Council’s jurisdiction and nothing can be done by us on private property. It'll need reporting to the local housing association which believe in this case is Hyde (https://www.hyde-housing.co.uk/ tenants/ repairs-and-maintenance/ report-a-repair/ or 0800 3 282 282).
    The knocked over lamp column was reported to Hyde and removed by them. From the photo it looks like it has been left safe but please report that to them too in order to be sure.
