The street drain is blocked, collapsed. The council have been aware of this for a very long time but have not done anything to rectify the problem, apart from putting a cone on top of the grate to stop people falling. Because there is no drainage on this part of Footscray Rd the road is flooded and the cars are coming around the bend and skidding. I live in a block of 4 townhouses in Footscray Road 534. The water has accumulated at the beginning of the communal driveway and is at least a foot deep. We can not get in and out of the drive onto the street by foot, the postman gave up after being knee deep. There is going to be an accident the drain has just been left. There is going to be an awful accident unless this is sorted URGENTLY
