Tree branches growing in and around several telephone wires and roots breaking up pavement slabs.

Reported via desktop in the Street category anonymously at 13:38, Thursday 5 September 2024

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6439749.

The tree outside number 7 Queenswood Road is growing vastly each year and the upper branches have grown into and around several telephone wires, potentially having an adverse affect on these, especially in windy conditions. The tree roots are causing huge humps in the pavement, pushing up and breaking paving slabs, which is a potential trip hazard. The tree outside number 7 hasn't been trimmed since we have lived in the road which is nearly three years. Some trees in the road have been trimmed back recently and several have signs on them to be trimmed soon. The tree outside number 7 wasn't done recently and doesn't appear to have been earmarked for the next round of trimming. Please could this issue be rectified as soon as possible. Thank you.
