Climbing creepers in park causing problems on property

The climbing creepers from adjoining park (open space) are continuously climbing into my property, creeping into shed roofs and causing leaks. I keep cutting them off but they grow faster than I can manage to cut them off. I understand the park (open space) is council property. I will appreciate that something is done to support me with this issue .
