Uneven and damaged paving

Reported via desktop in the Damaged pavement category anonymously at 11:39, Wed 10 July 2024

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6212735.

We are a self-advocacy group for people with learning disabilities called Respect in Bexley We are writing to you about 2 issues 1. the pavement outside the salvation Army building in Lion Road Bexleyeheath The pavement is uneven and is dangerous for people to fall over and trip and also for people in wheelchairs because it slopes as well It is also narrow and someone in a wheelchair feels unsafe as the pavement slopes and her chair goes towards the road and they think they will fall out of their wheelchair onto the road

2. We are writing to tell you about our concerns about the dustbins being left on the pavement on collection days. Anyone with mobility issues finds this very difficult as you have to go around the bins, its difficult to get past sometimes you have to go into the road to go round, and cars and lorries park on the pavement as well which is also tricky. One of our members who uses a wheelchair wanted to go out but they couldn't as they couldn't get past thank you for your time
