Risen tarmac o/s 5 Station Approach Barnehurst

Reported via desktop in the Damaged pavement category anonymously at 15:31, Tue 9 July 2024

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 6209462.

Hello,

Were having a pretty serious issue at our property 3 Station Approach, Barnehurst DA7 6HQ where our water pressure is 3LPM as measured by Thameswater.

We have done intense investigation and carried out works inside our own property where we have pulled upgraded all Pipework to larger pipes, Upgraded Stop cocks etc.

After upgrading all these works and nothing has come to resolution, we did further investigation and Water pressure is only 3LPM!

Thames water has attended the property and given us a report stating that water from the main road is 25LPM but at the end where our houses are located the water pressure is 3LPM.

I have had 2 different plumbers look at this.

We have knocked next door at 5 Station Approach which is owned by Bexley Council and the same issue is happening at there house, I believe this is a Supported living home. There seems to be a considerable leak outside of 5 Station Approach which has been going on for some time that has risen through the Tarmac and I fear that the soil could become saturated and collapse.

I have Thames Water reattending 09/07/24 1-4:30pm to have another look how we will solve this issue.

Please let me know your thoughts and how we wish to address this issue, as 2 properties have little to no water pressure.
