Fire at Footscray Medows

It seems that some people are making fires at the edge of Foots Cray Medows (close to the Ellenborough Road exit).

When we saw it, my girlfriend and I extinguished it ourselves on Saturday (22nd June) around 9 p.m.

The marks on the wood suggest that this is a repetitive behaviour, perhaps you may remove the whole tree trunk to discourage this.

It seems to me it's quite irresponsible to leave burning wood unattended, especially as we are approaching warmer weather
