Defective road
Reported via desktop in the Other street defect category anonymously at 10:19, Mon 8 April 2024
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5822395.
Reported road deterioration 2 Jan 24. Twice the larger pot hole has been filled but no information is forthcoming on the plans to repair this section of failed road despite having two face to face conversations with two representatives from the Bexley Council Highway Department. This section of road is not fit for purpose and is causing vibrations though my property and potential damage. My original report has been closed as "Fixed" which is certainly is not. Please can I request again that this is inspected and information shared on what corrective action is going to be taken to resolve this matter.

Road repairs carried out on 6 Aug 24 to repair defective road with the road supposedly being closed for 2 days. Road repair was carried out in half a day and reopened. I understand from neighbours is that this repair has been inspected by a council representative who agreed this repair is poor. Unsure what corrective action is being taken. The road repair is uneven which is still causing vibrations through our homes and now we have large areas of pooling water in poor weather conditions directly outside my home. I certainly hope the council has logged this poor repair with the appropriate works company so that this is rectified . Please can I be advised what corrective action is going to be taken to rectify this botched repair.
