Dangerous fallen tree

Reported via desktop in the Park / Open space category by Jonathon Aston at 17:20, Sat 3 February 2024

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5528349.

In the wooded area of the Warren Park, there’s a slop that runs to the bottom of the wood that has a large fallen tree with branches perching precariously in a second tree. Urgent inspection by a tree surgeon is required before children start climbing up the tree that could cause serious injury or death should one of those branches become dislodged and fall onto someone.

  • After involving the local councillor to get bums off seats, some work has started but not fully completed. It appears that the dangerous branch has been removed, think yourselves lucky that local children weren’t injured or worse. Not the best response time…
