Posts missing again at width. Restriction

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5484839.

The posts have been removed again at the width restriction nr corner pin Pub. This is enabling heavy vehicles thundering along slade green rd. Very dangerous for school children attending the school and elderly people. This i# happening so much, also the posts are becoming bent by drivers forcing their vehicles through. This needs to be modified to stop this happening. The road is becoming A great danger to children and the public

  • The case has now been closed as our investigations have been completed and the necessary repairs arranged where it relates to items maintainable by Bexley. This may require replacement materials to be ordered or works needed by external agencies (such as UK Power Networks or Housing Association) which may then take up to 4 weeks.

    Please let us know if the matter is not resolved after 4 weeks.

  • Width restriction posts nr corner pin P/ H still not put back. Huge Lorrie’s and skips roaring along Slade Green Rd. Really unacceptable to houses nr this rd and for school children. Needs sorting quickly before a serious accident happens here

  • This is a nightmare for residents along slide green rd. Huge skip Lorrie’s, Cement Lorrie’s,etc. speeding along. My house Vibrates. When is this going to be fixed. Road Works being blamed for this. Urgent please

  • It’s now four months when reported. Still not fixed. Unbearable traffic thundering along Slade Green Rd. Large skip Lorrie’s often dropping their rubbish on road when hitting speed bumps. When are the posts going back at width restriction. It is totally unacceptable for homes along this road.
