Massive tree in St. Martins Grove Park

Reported via desktop in the Park / Open space category anonymously at 12:26, Wed 10 January 2024

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5423936.

There is a massive tree that has split in half (last Tuesday in the strong winds) in the woods in St. Martens's Grove Park which is situated parallel to Spring Vale as you walk down the hill towards the bike park. Where it has broken off the part of tree remaining has shards of wood sticking up and they look like they could come loose and fall and could hurt someone. Also kids may play on the part of the tree that has fallen off and there are also very sharp shards of wood that could injury someone. Also please can I mention that the trees that fell in Oct/Nov that block the pathway round the bike park which is always used by walkers and dog walkers are still blocking the path and hasnt been dealt with even tho it was reported in November. Maybe, these two issues can be dealt with together when you send someone.
