Excessive rain water from alleyway
Reported via mobile in the Flooding in the road category anonymously at 11:08, Tue 14 November 2023
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5209647.
There is no drainage channel between the alleyway and the pavement. During times of heavy rain, this pours across the pavement and also carries stones and gravel from the alleyway onto the pavement as well.
The water lasts for days after rainfall as well. As we head into winter and potential icy conditions this becomes a massive risk for pedestrians as well

The previous deposited stones and gravel were cleared but nothing was put in place to prevent it happening again. With the subsequent rain we have had this problem is starting to grow again

Problem still hasn't been resolved. Guess it will take someone having an accident because of this situation for something to actually be completed rather than just sweeping some stones away that will come back when the next rainfall happens
