Roots of tree lifting pavement and trunk damaging security fencing

Reported via desktop in the Park / Open space category anonymously at 20:11, Fri 10 November 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5198525.

The tree is on the allotment side of the allotment security fence immediately above the Wyncham stream. The base of the tree trunk is approximately 18 inches and the tree trunk is now pushing the bottom of the allotment security fence over the pavement by about 15 inches and causing it to stick out. The roots of the tree are lifting the pavement causing uneveness and a serious trip hazard. This matter was previously reportedabout two years ago but no action was taken and the condition of the fence is now much worse. This matter has also been reported to the Allotment service
