Slippery Pavements due to leaf fall
Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 13:44, Thu 26 October 2023
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5140486.
Hi there - The pavement from the top of New Road where the woods start all the way to the bottom are pretty much impassable and dangerous due to leaf fall. When wet they are very slippery. Ive been walking down New Road for over a year to get to Abbeywood St and have never seen the pavement being cleared. The more leaves that fall, the more crushed they get and the more slippery they get when it rains. As the tree's over hang they never get sunlight, dry up and blow away. Can you get someone to clear once a week or once every 2 weeks? Just sweep them into the gutter or chuck them in the woods. Thanks in advance.

So exactly a week since I reported this and no actions whatsoever. The situation is now much worse. The pavements need to be swept ASAP.
