Drug Addicts

Reported via mobile in the Illegal encampments category anonymously at 18:25, Mon 16 October 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5103728.

Drug addicts again using the public space alongside the cenotaph to wait for their heroin delivery. Urinating and drinking while they wait. This area is disgusting and getting worse! You the council and the police are aware of who these people are and where the live, 6 Hawthorn Road the HMO on the corner and one of the small terraced houses next to the Freta Road turn off. Something must be done about this. Deliveries are being stolen from residents doorways and it’s plain to see when you drive around and Bexleyheath now that the borough are housing heroin addicts at an alarming rate!

Updates

  • We have an addict problem locally as both the landlords of 6 & 69 Oaklands Road have allowed their respective properties to be let to drink & drug addicts; 6 Oaklands is actually owned by Lambeth council! The addicts are hanging around the local streets as well as the broadway and meeting their dealers on the local roads at various times of the day. Bexleyheath has gone from a nice place to bring up a family to an area local people now want to leave. Disgraceful.
