The case has now been closed as our investigations have been completed and the necessary repairs arranged where it relates to items maintainable by Bexley. This may require replacement materials to be ordered or works needed by external agencies (such as UK Power Networks or Housing Association) which may then take up to 4 weeks.
Please let us know if the matter is not resolved after 4 weeks.

A new lampost has been erected. However, the stub of the old lampost is still in place. Can this be removed?

Comments from before remain the same ....new lampost has been erected. However, the stub of the old lampost is still in place. Can this be removed as it presents a safety hazard.

Light still not turning on at night. I have an elderly mum and the situation is hazardous as there is no lighting to help her footing when she approaches the house in the evening. Fortunately the evenings are getting lighter now we are in Spring but please can you get the light fixed before an accident happens?? I raised the issue with the lamppost months ago. It would be great to get things finally resolved. If there is an incident before that I will definitely hold the Council accountable.
