Collapsed drains

Reported via mobile in the Blocked rainwater gulleys category anonymously at 14:08, Fri 22 September 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 5021444.

Hi we are managing agents for a council property which houses people with learning disabilities, 65 Lion Road DA6 8NW. We have had drainage issues for some time with neighbouring properties behind putting nappies and sanitaryware down the drains. this week our drains blocked and backed up completely and on investigation from sewage experts and thames water, the drain was found to be collapsed in several places. The repair has cost £6024. the engineer said that the council may need to investigate neighbouring properties which may have similar issues, our drainage is now working. any questions you can contact me 07921450704 (Laura Simon - Housing Officer)
