?illegal encampment

Reported via mobile in the Illegal encampments category anonymously at 09:54, Fri 8 September 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4971694.

This problem appeared early July, as far as I can recall. The padlock to the council gate preventing illegal access to the land and garages off Braeside Crescent has been broken off and the gate remains open. This area is now being used to dump motor vehicles, photo 3, and also someone has moved in a caravan which they are now living in. There also seem to be a lot of vehicles, maybe associated with the caravan, moving in. If the gate is not repaired I fear there may be a chance a traveller encampment and/or drug dealers once again using the area. I am a local resident and am concerned for the neighbourhood. Thank you.
