Owners not clearing up dog mess/ foul in Waring park DA14 4EF

Reported via desktop in the Park / open space category anonymously at 10:47, Fri 1 September 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4947984.

To whom this may concern,

I am a new dog owner and walker at waring park for the last 1 month and there are numerous dog owners/ walkers letting there dogs off the lead, the dogs are fouling on the grass and the owners are turning a blind eye to it. I even questioned one owner the other day and their comment was “our dog thinks its above other dogs”. Now this consistent dog mess being left result’s in my dog rolling in it every walk and her having to be bathed and bathing so regular is not good for her coat and skin. Mostly the path ways look clear but you only have to step 1 metre on the the grass and you come across dog mess very quickly. I also understand that this maybe foxes fouling, but I am clearly witnessing dogs fouling and owners not clearing it up. Would it be possible to get some enforcement down there issuing tickets and some signage up for these non conforming dog owners to read and maybe deter.
