Pathway needs sweeping

Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 15:52, Thu 31 August 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4945783.

Pathway to footpath next to church needs sweeping- all the acorn husks are falling and it’s getting difficult to walk on them. Children will be using the footpath to get to school next week and the pile of husks is getting worse. Also the footpath/alley way could so with a sweep as rubbish is collecting in amongst the fallen vegetation.

  • The pavement at the Parkhill end of the alley way has been swept. Thank you. Further up the alley way towards Hurst Road there are several Oak trees in the vicarage grounds which drop loads of acorns. I have myself been sweeping them to the side so that the pathway is clear for pedestrians. This has left considerable debris which was left untouched. I will now not be undertaking this task - so could the sweeping be extended to this part of the alley way especially as there will be plenty of foot traffic from school children starting this week. As I said, the build up of tree debris encourages people to drop their litter which is now building up.
