Wyncham Stream bank seriously overgrown

Reported via desktop in the Shrubs and Hedge category by Martin Avis at 11:00, Tuesday 15 August 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4893366.

I live at 26 Annandale Road, and the overgrown Wyncham Stream bank is causing considerable problems in our garden, as brambles and other pernicious weeds, such as ivy, and nettles, are encroaching, and our fences are in danger of being damaged. This stretch of the Wyncham Stream has been cleared in the past, but seems to get less attention than other parts.

  • One month on and the problem is now considerably worse. The area of the stream by the bridge in Annandale Road is now a target for littering and flytippers. Not surprising because it looks so awful.
