Brambles blocking pathway

The brambles are overgrowing from fence, at face height, catching hair/ face when trying to use pathway ar side of royal park school car park, riverside road, leading into footscray meadows. Just need a hard prune back please. Thank you.

    Alot has been cut back, but there are still long bramble branches at eye level.
