Sunken Drain - previously repaired (not properly)

Reported via desktop in the Damaged road category anonymously at 06:45, Fri 21 July 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4810102.

This issue of a sunken drain was previously reported (reference 3844480). It is on the corner of Erith Road and Windermere Road at the zebra crossing. The original fix was to throw some tarmac into the hole in December 2022 (picture attached). This did alleviate the problem to a degree but it has now come to the stage where the tarmac has compacted and the issue has returned. Lorries passing through night and day are driving over the drain causing a very large bang which shakes our property. The pointing continues to fall out of the brickwork in our house as a result. A more permanent fix needs to be considered for this issue and I would like to have a meeting with someone to discuss the impact this is having on our property
