Northall/ alleyway towards station
Reported via mobile in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 10:01, Thursday 6 July 2023
Sent to London Borough of Bexley 1 hour, 34 minutes later. Report ref: 4755901.
Hi. Yes still nothing has been done to improve the safety of the public access, as there is now leaf’s and rubbish that need to be cleared up and removed.
Also the alleyway over hanging bushes & trees that are now cause difficult with access for the public to use as shown in the attached photo, also as the bushes & tress are hanging over the fence of the resident homes, as it’s a public alleyway it’s now the responsibility for the council to manage that the alleyway to managed and make safe for the public to use.
I understand that if trees are hanging over residence/ homeowners garden they are entitled to cut /removed the tress that are overhanging into there garden, so with that point what is causing the council delaying in cutting tree/bushes as they are on hanging over council public walkway which is the council responsibility!!
Question: has anyone from the council actually visited and inspected the alleyway?

The alleyway has been reported and has been an ongoing concern for over year and still the council has not made any attempt to contact the local residents to advise them that the over grown trees and bushes need to be cut back to ensure th alleyway is safe for all users.
The council have not attempted to remove any rubbish and clear the leaves within the alleyway
