Urgent mitigation required for enormous potholes

Reported via desktop in the Damaged road category anonymously at 05:18, Thursday 22 June 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4702452.

The road surface along Sherwood Park Avenue has disintegrated significantly to the point that it has become worse than an unmade road. Very deep and dangerous potholes. The speeding vehicles on this TfL bus route have exposed the concrete beneath which has disintegrated leaving significant debris strewn down the street under dumped vehicles.

The date of works to address has been moved back to late August over two months away. Urgent mitigation of the worst of the potholes has not happened despite the many many notifications along here.

To prevent damage to vehicle axles or injury to motorcyclists or cyclists something needs to happen before late August- be that the filling of the worst 10 defects or a temporary speed limit to prevent further damage
