Reported via desktop in the Street category anonymously at 17:42, Sunday 18 June 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4686999.

This tree was cut down over a year ago. The stump that was left has since grown extremely bushy and the roots are coming through the pavement. There are also several small tree shoots coming up around the area of the stump.

  • The overgrown branches were cut back a couple of weeks ago, but they are rapidly growing back.

  • The stump is now just as overgrown as it was, if not more so. The growth that is pushing through the tarmac is a trip hazard. The pavement is narrowed at that point and so is the road.
