Roots of tree breaking my garden wall

Reported via mobile in the Private property category anonymously at 17:15, Friday 9 June 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4652584.

The tree in my neighbours garden (48 Portmeadow walk) is becoming very dangerous , the wall has massive cracks in it coz the tree is so massive and heavy. Not to mention the bird shit I get ALL over my clean washing as my washing line is fixed into the concrete right underneath this massive tree . I love trees normally but please could someone come and at least cut it back a bit please? As it’s sooo heavy I’m afraid the wall will collapse. My neighbours are very nice and say I can cut back if I want but it’s way too high and I’m scared I would either hurt myself or damage mine or someone else’s home. Thank you for reading and I really hope someone comes to sort it out. Thank you . Sharon Aitken
