Lack of litter picking.
Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning and litter category by Joy Ashton at 18:08, Sun 4 June 2023
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4630222.
Orbit Estate but roads are Bexley responsibility. NO litter picking has been carried for as long as we can recall. The litter that is around has been generated over many, many weeks. I am aged 75, do not go out very often so I am aware of when cleaning and litter picking is carried out. Used to have a little motorised road sweeper once a week but not any more. We have foxes, feral cats, squirrels in our area, we don't need litter to. PLEASE don't say that the issue is/has been resolved, IT HASN'T.

Mechanical road sweeper has just been down but unfortunately did NOT sweep the parking bays which are part of Bexley Council's litter picking schedule. As you can see, this litter is WEEKS old

Mobile sweeper came back down and attempted to litter pick a bit more but got to the side of the red car and couldn't sweep properly, it just needed for the sweetman to use a broom to sweep the rubbish sway from car and then use mobile sweeper. 2nd photo shows a brown paper carrier bag that was initially in the kerb but the sweeper knocked it onto the pavement, hence job still hasn't been done properly
