Sunken drain and surrounding structure

The drain and the surrounding structure has shrunk into the ground. Every car etc that goes over it makes a loud noise as it rattles. As you can appreciate this is under our bedroom window and is causing distress by waking us should any vehicles pass in the night or early morning. It is crossed by the bin and delivery lorries causing it to become more damaged.
