Outside 22 Thanet Road - roots of the tree are lifting the pavement and causing an obstruction for the public. This is a serious health and safety issue for the public.

Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 10:51, Friday 3 March 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4278961.

At approx 9:20am on Thursday 2/3/23 I tripped and fell on my face outside 22 Thanet Road. This was due to the uneven pavement which is caused by the roots of a tree. I have bad bruises around my right eye and cuts on my face and forehead. I also have bruising on my right hand. I was very lucky it wasn’t more serious. I met a Bexley Council Traffic warden, number 682, on duty who reported the accident at appropriate 9:50am. Please let me know what will be done to avoid this or a more serious accident happening to anyone else.
