Tree felled

This tree has been growing here for over 100 years. In it’s lifetime has taken tons of carbon out of the atmosphere. It has been felled so a group of people so they can sit round chopping more wood. It has probably been done by a friends of the woods as there is a herd of wooden things they seem to ??. The tree had no rot as the pictures show. I have walked these woods for years, please don’t let this vandalism continue there are plenty of trees which have rot but not this old fella. It was downed by a chain saw, as the pic shows so it must have been felled by a council employer.
