Corner parking problems - Sampson Close & Bright Close

Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 12:56, Friday 10 February 2023

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4220705.

The parking problems in this area are continuing to cause difficulties for vehicles that do need to drive around the estate. The first photo was taken on Friday 3 February. The bin lorry only just managed to make a right turn from Sampson Close into Carrill Way because of the Volvo parked on the corner. (The red car behind the Volvo was parked against a dropped kerb all day. It did get a ticket). The second photo was taken on Friday 10 February and shows cars parked on both corners of Bright Close. The bin lorry obviously had problems driving around them as both cars had a card placed on the windscreen by the bin men (see third photo). (The white Range Rover also has a parking ticket as it is blocking a dropped kerb). We need parking restrictions here to stop this inconsiderate and illegal parking.
